Today there was a ceremonial presentation of certificates to the participants of the “UAVIEW” project (“Creation of digital models of damage to buildings and structures using drones”), which was organized by the Cherkasy State University of Technology and the University of East London within the framework of the international program “Initiative of Unity” (“Twin for Hope” ) in partnership with Universities UK, which aims to promote cooperation between Great Britain and Ukraine.
The vice-rector for scientific work of the Cherkasy State University of Technology, doctor of technical sciences, professor, Emil FAURE, made a welcome speech. “Despite the times, we still have to move forward and gain new knowledge that will allow us to build our state in the future, so I would like to wish the graduates of the courses to use the knowledge they have acquired for the benefit of the state and professional growth,” adds Emil FAURE.
We remind you that the courses lasted about a year and included lectures and practical work. Lecturers were the leading scientists of ChDTU Serhiy ROTTE, Denys GRETSKY, Stanislav RADOV, Emil FAURE. The project participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the principles of assessing the condition of building structures, studied the structure of the latest drones, in particular the DJI Mavic 3, how to plan and perform aerial photography, how to work in a program for building 3D models.
